Every
CLT intensive course starts with the CLT placement
test. The entry skill level in the target
language is determined through the online placement
test, which takes approximately 30 minutes. This
test is based on the Common European Framework
for Language Learning and Teaching, the standard
for studying languages Europe-wide.

Then
follows the kick-off meeting. Introducing
both the software environment and the course material,
the kick-off is vital to the success of a blended
learning course. CLT tutors hold kick-offs either
live or in a virtual classroom.
Self-instruction with learning software.
During the self-instruction phase of 2 or 3 weeks,
CLT students work on the software with the help
of their personal tutor, who gives them regular
feedback on their progress. In the context of
a blended learning course the learning software
is used to built grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation

Online tutoring
and phone training. The CLT online tutor
can constantly be reached by e-mail, telephone
and fax and will answer any questions related
to the language course. The tutor sends out a
weekly study letter containing the "the assignment
of the week". In addition, the tutor analyses
the IntelliPlan results once a week to restructure
the course plan accordingly using the CLT tutoring
tools. More

The optional CLT phone training service offers additional assistance in the use of the CLT environment and in the process of learning a foreign language. But most of all it provides business communication within the framework of our students' daily activities.
Live
training. While the time-consuming introduction
and practice phase of learning new structures
and vocabulary is performed in the self-study
phase, students are expected to actively use these
new language elements in a classroom situation.
In the the classroom, CLT trainers focus on communication,
checking learning progress, reinforcing structures
introduced during self-instruction, transferring
acquired knowledge to business use and inter-cultural
instruction. CLT offers a syllabus both for face-to-face
training and virtual classroom instruction.
Each course ends with a final test, designed
to verify the participant's learning progress
and the course's effectiveness. The result is
stored separately in the CLT LMS and added to
the student's personal learning history. More
